Cathy Johnson, a military wife and mother of two, began Personal Touch Vacations in 1990 as a way to share her love of travel planning and her extensive knowledge of the travel industry. Cathy is a people person who has always had a love of travel, and whose work has mostly been related to customer service and the travel industry - first as a customer service representative for the Marin Independant Journal in Marin County, CA, then the Pensacola News Journal in Pensacola, FL, and as a travel agent for Go Go Tours (now Go Go World Wide Vacation). She has enjoyed many incredible vacations with her own family, and knows the value of spending quality time together building lasting memories on dream vacations. Cathy naturally formed many lasting connections with travel industry experts and representatives as she planned many of her own family vacations. She realized that her experience and unique approach could be a benefit to others, and Personal Touch Vacations was born.
